Very friendly and the trek was something new to me. Really good day! Excellent adventure day, good fun and something you should definitely try - especially if its your first time.

I am sorry I have not replied sooner, but you can be sure that I will be back for another trail next summer. Maybe Gauja forests? It was really difficult to get back to work after such a wonderful holiday. That was such an amazing experience with adventureride. I still cannot realize that so amazing wide sunny beaches with white sands can lie tens of km without any human being even in september. The nature was just amazing and your program was well prepared and very interesting. The trail, the guide, the horses and you were absolutely marvelous. Thank you for the beautiful photos. I have placed two of them on my desk and I am looking at them every day. Best wishes to Liva and Lady. I am still galloping with Lady through the rivers in my dreams! :)

Ranch and the area of "Daugavas loki" is a wonderful place for horse riding. But also it offers exactly the place for stressed peple from cities who are belonging to quiteness. We needed 14 days of rest and time of calm. Which was exactly what we found here! For us the most important was the nature and the way how living can be natural and not artificial. Like it is on most places where we come from. The landscape here is overweening. So much space for loneliness. We spent nice days at the lake. Paldies for the boat. Even though we are 30-years-ones we're never been on the back of a horse. It was the first time for us - and we want more! We wish you much luck living like you do in job, at ranch and with your hobby. You are all unique! Paldies to all of you Ilze, Ingars, Olga and Wasja for all!

"Alles Gluck der Erde liegt auf dem Rucken der Pferde". PALDIES for 5 great days of our honey moon vacation at your ranch. We were riding, going by boat on the river Daugava, doing pottery, hunting flies and moskitos that we had never seen before and trying to by food in a Latvian supermarket within enough Latvian and Russian language. Our time here was great fun we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. We hope we can come back one day and get to know Ilzes' baby and Olga as a vat doctor specialized on horses. Perhaps EU will be so kind and construct a high-speed train from Munich to Kraslava. Stay as you are today and keep you great nature.

Going through your beautiful website, it brings back the memories with you, the horses and the splendid environment of Kraslava. There is very little chance that I will come back but I will always cherish you. I have been so lucky to be able to ride around during each of the four seasons, so that this beautiful environment is carved into my soul. Looking at the many pictures on your website brings it all back and alive. In your introduction you write “I love this place, and this place loves me”, count me in as well.

Horse riding is one of the most relaxing activities there is, whether you’re an old hand at it or a complete beginner. Come and see for yourself in the picturesque surroundings of Latgale, close to the Latvian-Belarussian border. They offer a variety of horse riding activities for between 1-10 people, with an experienced guide taking you on a choice of breathtakingly beautiful forest trails. You can gallop along the nature trail, trot along the special culture route or ride right up to the Belarussian border. In winter you can experience the magic of riding through the silent forest when it’s blanketed in snow. You can even ride on a sledge. For real horse lovers, they offer a special service where newly weds can be whisked away in a horse-driven carriage! On top of all this, they give special seminars on equine matters and they have a wealth of literature on the subject. There are few countries where horses are as revered as much as they are in Latvia.

All trails go through wonderful nature to nice picnic places. Special places are shown (old oak, special rocks e.g.) Really a great experience and a wonderful time with very nice people. The additional visiting of the secret bunker and the concert in Cesis (also the old town of Cesis) was very impressive.
